- Accessible Vehicle Funding — grants of up to $50,000 for eligible individuals and families to modify a personal vehicle for accessibility (hand controls, van lifts/ramps)
- Note: funding covers accessibility modifications only, not the vehicle purchase itself
- The 2026–27 intake is open with a July 20, 2026 deadline.
How to apply
- Accessible Vehicle Funding — grants of up to $50,000 for eligible individuals and families to modify a personal vehicle for accessibility (hand controls, van lifts/ramps)
- Note: funding covers accessibility modifications only, not the vehicle purchase itself
- The 2026–27 intake is open with a July 20, 2026 deadline
- The 2025–26 pool was $350,000, and 93 individuals/families have benefited since 2020
- A third-party benefits navigator (Benefits Wayfinder) reports applicants may apply once every five years and one vehicle per household is covered — confirm with the department.
