How to apply

  1. Rate and ceilings (2026): rate 40% (up from 39% in 2025); eligible expenses up to $19,500 (non-autonomous seniors) → maximum credit $7,800, or $25,500 (autonomous seniors) → $10,200
  2. Short-term transitions to a recovery unit count at 20% for up to 60 days; a separate 20% credit for autonomy of seniors applies to costs over $250.
