- $400/month for eligible unpaid caregivers of low-income seniors with complex care needs. Administered by NL Health Services.
How to apply
- Caregiver: 19+, NL resident, provides significant regular care (expected beyond 90 days), not paid to provide the care, signs an agreement with NL Health Services
- Care recipient: 65+, NL resident, assessed by NL Health Services as requiring significant care, receiving community support services, and with household net income ≤ $32,000 (single) or $49,000 (couple)
- Income thresholds were expanded in 2025 (previously $24,999/$34,999)
- Apply through an NLHS case manager.
